Shell Bag Necklace

A unique piece, both a long necklace and a mini crossbody bag, this item upcycles a small vintage shell box framed in brass. Sourced, cleaned, and then varnished, it is transformed into a beautiful little bag that can hold a mini wallet, a small lipstick, or simply serve as a marvelous piece of jewelry. The box opens.

Gold Field is a mechanical pressing of 14K gold onto a brass base, with a gold content 50 to 100 times higher than traditional plating. Thicker, it accounts for 5% of the product's weight in gold. This process is more resistant to oxidation and scratches than regular plating.

To preserve the brilliance of your jewelry, avoid exposing it to water, perfume, skincare creams, or makeup. Clean it with a soft cloth, such as chamois leather, and store it away from light when not in use.

DIY Tip: If the brass ever tarnishes and you wish to restore its original shine, you can clean it with a soft cloth soaked in a special brass cleaner, then rinse and dry it immediately with chamois leather. Be sure to protect the mother-of-pearl box during this cleaning process. Brass can be cleaned and recycled indefinitely, making it a sustainable material.

The chain measures 1.06 meters, allowing for a long necklace or crossbody wear. The box measures 8 cm and is in a light cream color.
